Tim's tale is a woeful one - Tim was a wizard like any other, trying to pursue his research into "The Effects of Enchantments on Leshy Reincarnation." However, one particularly eventful night, Tim went out for a night on the town in Streingburg - and, somehow... started *and finished* the ritual for becoming an eternal undead - a lich.
Due to some rather strict law readings, Tim had apparently broken no laws. However, he was terribly dismayed by his new cold body... and has thus filed a suit against the owner of the tavern where he became a lich. However, as he's undead and the courts are run by elves, all involved know that time is not of the essence - for a suit filed in 1458, Tim only managed to get a court date set for 1706.
