Tyradel is a fantastical realm going through a new boom of innovation and magic infused science, akin to our Renaissance and Age of Enlightenment. Much like the early Renaissance of our times, not everywhere is experiencing this new era of innovation, and there are many backwards places that are much more like a traditional thought of fantasy based medieval worlds.   What brought about this sudden boom of ideas and progress? Why, ancient manuscripts of a lost and forgotten age: The Age of The MageMoon. In this age, magic was abundant and practically everywhere. For some unknown reason, however, something happened to this prosperous and magical age that brought ruin and a loss of progress and many magical techniques and artifacts.   Now, adventuring and treasure hunting is a most profitable business, and so is hiring these adventurers and merchandising the artifacts brought by them. Throughout the many abandoned temples and ruins, the secrets to great magical power lies... and so does the very thing that brought ruin to the old age, waiting and starving for havoc.
