Saltmarsh
A small region representing The Vinlandic Union's only holdings in South Leifstagr. Saltmarsh represent's the furthest south any human kingdom has attempted to colonize in the new world. This makes it one of the most isolated colonies, with the only human settlements being the fishing town of Saltrings and the military fort of Seaton. There is also the elven fort of Burle that prevents further expansion south.
Geography
A coastal area dominated in a mix of swampland and forests. The land is mostly flat with some tall hills while the forested areas deviate heavily from most natural forests due to alien influences.
Localized Phenomena
The Dreadwood seems to be a near a weak point in the fabric of the material plane, with elements of the ShadowFell (negative energy plane) seeping in through here. The Drowned Forest seems to have been influenced by something eldritch, with reported surreal visions and unnatural flora, but the source is currently unknown.
