Session 19: A moral quandary Report

General Summary

It took a while, and a bit of searching the area, but eventually the solution was found for the three training pillars. The party then made their way cautiously up the tower, knocking out the students and being ambushed by mimics exploring the master's bedroom. They ended up interrupting a ritual binding a living spell, and soon learn of the master's experiments to create living spells by sending corpses to various elemental planes. The party decided that, actually, the mage's experiments are not as evil as they thought, and might even put a dent into the practice of necromancy. Unfortunately, the mage was paranoid of a strangers, and had to force him to surrender before he would listen to the team.   They also decided to help themselves to the Potions the students were brewing, which ultimately backfired on them: Erland having to bury his own corpse. Otherwise, the party promised to convince the city to approve of his experiments and made their way back to the inn. They wanted to prepare for the king's mission of course.
