Dragonborn

The dragon like humanoids of Tyranal, after the war before the Third Elven Age, primarily live along the desert like peninsula of Dren Konar. There population isn't a large as it used to be, but there are enough Dragonborn to have a sustainable economy and trading agreements with other countries.
A large majority of the Dragonborn praise the goddess Averonne, also known as Aberonne in Dren Konar. Many view her as the a gold dragon at the center of the sun. There are also a number of Dragonborn that revere living dragons, believing they are children of Aberonne the Dragon Goddess. Dragonborn who actively participate in killing dragons are often shunned. There have also been rare occasions, like with Azko Lar, where a Dragonborn has been jailed for crimes against living dragons.
Though in recent years, more Dragonborn have become more aware to the fact that some dragons have evil intentions. It can still sometimes be a point of contention at town hall gatherings and senate meetings.
