KIng Apanath, The Storm King (Deceased)

King Apanath was a Storm Giant and king of the Northlands for his entire tenure that he lived there. Under him there was a tenuous alliance between the other clans to serve him. When Arma Lucis defeated the Blod Nasra and the white dragon, Winged Shadow, the alliances started to break down.
In an effort to put the Northlands back under his heel, he stamped out and enslaved more of the citizens of the cold north. Which Arma Lucis also interfered in multiple times. In an effort to increase his power he started opening elemental rifts between worlds for him to feed on.
In the final confrontation between Apanath and Arma Lucis, Illiana struck a mighty blow against him, causing him to fall on his own sword, Razor of Night, releasing his near demigod essence into the nearest target, Illiana, changing her forever.
After Apanath died, his sword was taken up by Ein Ianson.
