Flammae Initiation

A Falx witch gets ger final wand when she reaches eighteen. She also gets a challenge that will define her life and instruments required for her continuous activities in the outside world after her years of training. This day is often celebrated in the residence on the day of the young witches birthday with a feast and possibly extra gifts. She is also introduced to officially becoming a full-fledged member in the coven.

Execution

At first she receives eventual gifts and instruments for her continuous activities and also becomes an official member of the coven, she vows to follow the rules and fulfill her duty as a Flammae witch.

Components and tools

The young witch receives her first characteristic wand but may also receive weapons or other tools involved with her own area to strengthen her in her work.

Participants

The crone of the coven and the young witch being celebrated and initiated is the most important but most often the whole coven gathers to celebrate.

Observance

The ceremony takes place at the night of a witch’s birthday.
