Gerald Rivos

The chief Ranger and scout for Sentinel Fortress. A taciturn man that prefers the company of rocks and ice to other human beings. Despite his complete lack of social graces, many of the women of Sentinel Fortress sought this handsome man as a husband. Gerald prefers not to speak often because he generally says the wrong thing, and is often called out for being un-Katheroi like in making statements that are less than kind. The closest person to being his friend is Redmont Ilios, a fellow Ranger, and his son, Thane Rivos, who was told by Lord Raymond Ilios, Marquess of the Reaches and Lord of Sentinel Fortress to follow in his father's footsteps and become a Ranger.
He was once the most handsome man in Sentinel Fortress. He is a good Katheroi, and, despite a generally loveless marriage, he has remained faithful to his wife Meryl Rivos, a Perfecti that has birthed and raised eight children.

Gerald is has a handsome square and oblong face that is now weather borne and tanned from hours outside.  A strong and physically graceful man.
