Goliath

Goliaths are a race descended from Stone and Hill Giants, and as such are sometimes referred to as "Giantkin". 

Description

Goliaths are much taller than most other humanoids, but not as large as closely related Giants and Ogres, with full grown Goliaths being between 7 and 8 feet tall. Goliaths also seem to have Alopecia as a species, and are incapable of growing hair- leading many Goliath cultures to use tattoos as a form of self expression- those from Ukim typically have tattoos with simple geometric patterns, while those from Gaius or Shura will typically have vivid colors or scenes from myths and legend painted upon their skin. A goliath might also have tattoos with imagery relevant to other cultures or places to indicate their travels or bonds made. Goliaths are acclimated to mountains and the cold weather of Ukim, although there are several nomadic tribes that have made themselves at home in the harsh Shuran Desert. Goliath societies are typically rigid, and even less Urban tribes and clans place heavy focus on individual responsibility and the idea that one must carry their weight- although tribes will almost always volunteer to provide for those who cannot in times of illness or injury.
