While many species of Kumiho are known for being highly aggressive to even their own kind, this doesn't stop the populace from wanting to pet and keep a kumiho for themselves. They can be domesticated, but this takes many generations to do thoroughly and is seen as a futile waste of time because there are already species of kumiho that are naturally domesticated and friendly to sapient beings.
