The Divinitive
A Gift From Above
The First Occurence1
There have been reported rumors about an object sent from the heavens was found in Anthos, sometime after the rumors gained ground scientists from the sister country, Kortlivad, took a trip to inspect the object. In the hours that followed the visit, all of the scientists and guards who escorted them were found dead after a grisly explosion that involved the object took place. With the loss of several well-respected citizens, Kortlivad demanded that Anthos take responsibility for what their new prized possession had done and when Anthos rejected the responsibility Kortlivad took to arms. After a few days of intense battles, hundreds in collateral damage on Anthos side, and a thousand or so lives, the war ceased with the aid of the Paragons of Virtue, but the damage was done. The Paragons took the object from the two countries and sought to hide it in a well-secured location for further inspection, at least until they knew it was no longer a threat. In the Care of the Paragons
After the Order successfully obtained the Divinitive and ended the war between Anthos and Kortlivad, the Divinitive was hidden in one of the most sacred and secured ancient temples hidden in Middle Ground as part of Temple of Ruins. Only the most tested and trusted scientists, magicians, and other masters of the divine arts were allowed to even travel down the halls near the temple that houses the Divinitive. Even Paragons, who were sought as the leaders of the Order, had to go through and pass strict regulations and check-ups before they could see and hold the Divinitive.Significance
The Divinitive is a huge cultural, religious, and scientific find as it is truly believed to be a relic from one of the earliest religious groups in the world. Though no one can prove exactly WHICH religious group it belonged to, the materials used serve as major clues in that it ruled out many of the major deities and mythical figures around the world.
'The First Occurrence'1 is what the Order of the Paragons refer to as the first time the Divinitive was activated after it was discovered. This is also commonly referred to as The Pacifist's Confrontation, as it is the main reason there was a war between Anthos and Kortlivad in the first place.

Author's Notes
Working on some concept designs for the Divinitive, they will be traditional sketches for now as I don't have the time to do full digital pieces this month.
