Voidists

Voidists are magic and scientific researchers of Void matter, also called dark matter and black matter, the substance is so unique and new that it has to be synthetically produced in labs buried several miles underground. It is believed that, should the void matter be stabilized, it can completely revolutionize magic, science, knowledge, and technology all across the world which is why it is considered a big deal that someone would join the profession to help gain new information about the substance and it's effect on certain situations and properties.

Career

Qualifications

In order to become a voidist, they all have to take several years worth of study programs and internships with already established voidists to learn the procedures and basics to the profession. Trainees also have to choose a sister science to minor in as a fall-back to in they retired from this particular profession, which isn't uncommon as many unprepared individuals grow frustrated from years of no new advancements that they quit all together for something new.

The labs that voidists work in are large bunkers buried several miles underground in uninhabited places in order to preserve the sanitation of the bunkers and to avoid any kind of manipulation to experiments from environmental/outside factors. These bunkers are constantly cleaned, repaired, updated, and regulated to ensure the highest possible result from experiments.

Voidists of Note

• Ammit Gladius-Gladstone: The previous head of the Gladius family, who married Duke Gladstone and had triplets, was a huge and well-respected pioneer in the science and study of void matter, as she was able to stabilize the matter longer than anyone else, and subsequently gained more information from it.
• Cantionis Gladius-Gladstone: Youngest and surviving daughter of Ammit, Cantionis is the current head of the family and has created a new kind of technology dubbed 'Magiviore' using a decent sized sample of stable void matter, which is the first and only time void matter has been stabilized without destruction.
