Children of Valdi

Some skilled Dwarven craftspeople may enter a special mood, a kind of divine inspiration, where they see a perfect image of an item they feel compelled to create. There are many explanations behind this phenomenon, but some believe it is the work of Valdi, who uses them as conduits of his power to create things that must come to be. These believers call themselves the Children of Valdi.
The conventional idea of this is an item made on the forge, but it is believed that Valdi also guides his children in creating bigger and more abstract things like nations, or even creating a specific future by destroying the obstacles that would prevent it.
