Airplane

Airplanes are not a common form of travel outside of the military. When the mortals were building the The Paradox which was the first airship on Miyla. The Dragons were not happy about the airship when it was built and evermore so when the mortals started to create planes. As time passed though even the Dragons began to accept the airplanes for military purposes because the Dragons could save their strength for the battle instead of wasting it on flying there themselves. The ability to also transport assets and soldiers easier than strapping them onto a Dragon changed warfare on Miyla. Most airplanes in Miyla are used for the military and only a few will fly civilians. It is not technically illegal to fly outside of the various laws of the different Dragon Flights. These independent flyers often fly with small planes and use remote airstrips that are maintained loosely by local communities here on the strip. Since these planes don't have all the bells and whistles of the military planes they are usually singled with smoke singles or magical means if the pilot allowed it. The pilots who fly airplanes are usually of the mortal races and it is rare for a Dragon to fly an airplane. However, with all of the progress Dragons still believe that planes are for the military and many are against the idea of allowing the general public access to flight believing that Trains are fine. Due to this pilots are frowned on by the Dragons which doesn't bother them as pilots are happy that they can fly without the Dragons.
