Leaf Ray
A floaty forest creature that quietly flies from tree to tree in warm woodlands. This giant leaf looks peaceful have strong jaws.
Basic Information
Anatomy
This stingray-like creature has a wide flat body. They don't have bones and are supported by cartilage and chitin. They have wing-like fish fins and long tails. They also have a thorn that is coming out of the base of their tail. They do not have any limbs other than their odd wing fins.
Genetics and Reproduction
They reproduce through internal fertilization.
Growth Rate & Stages
Female Leaf Rays give birth once a year. They usually have two to six young at a time. The baby grows in its mother and when it is born it will look like a little adult.
Ecology and Habitats
They live in warm forested areas.
Dietary Needs and Habits
The Leaf Ray eats meat. Normally small woodland creatures. They do sometimes eat plants, but mostly flowers.
Biological Cycle
As the seasons change the Leaf Ray will change colors based on the season. During spring they will look pink. During summer they will look green. In the fall they will look red. During the winter they will have a brown look.

The thorn that comes out of them has poison in it. The horrible poison can be used for a lot of different things. The poison can change depending on the seasons.

The Leaf Ray can see the world with a fish-eye-like lens. It can smell and has a decent sense of smell. The thorn that is coming out of the tail is venomous and it seems to use wind magic to help it fly. The Leaf Ray has a face that looks like a catfish with whiskers.
