Mist Eyes
"And then there was a tapping. Tapping. Tapping..." Nyesi read from the children's book. Pōyâ pulled the covers over her face. Her eyes were wide as she listened to the story.
"Then the window flew open! The monstrous..." Nyesi was interrupted by his daughter's scream. Nyesi lowered the book with a laugh, "It's just a story, little one. Do you want me to stop for tonight?"
"Yes, please," Pōyâ laughed.
Nyesi put the book down and bent down to kiss his daughter's forehead. Nyesi then said, "Good night, Pōyâ. Remember that my love will keep the mist at outside."
The frightening creature known as Mist Eyes is a popular monster in children's books. The monster is used in children's books because it is easy to beat. Light is used to keep the monster away. Although it is easy to beat the monster in books it is not so simple in the real world.
Basic Information
Anatomy
The monster does have a physical form, but the only part of them that is "real" are its eyes. The eyes are made from smooth stones or human eyes. Any humanoid eyes would work.
The Mist Eyes can take in shape it wants around the eyes. If it is bound it will take the form that the summoner wants. Mist Eyes will mostly look like a bony male figure. With a humanoid skull that doesn't have a lower jaw. The monster will also have long bony arms, hands, and fingers. If the monster looks like it is wearing anything it is not. That is the mist that is around the Eyes that are trying to trick the victum.
