A fruiting tree found in the Gem sea, though most famously from
Lacertillia, The tree itself is made of three intertwining trunks and grows to around 30ft tall. At around 20 feet each trunk starts to separate, while still curving, producing a reverse tripod effect. Each tree top tends to produce between 10 and twenty fruit a year.
Uses
While the obvious wood and fruit uses exist, several others have sprung to mind. The first is the Gdooble tree is a favored home for
Silk Spider, producing finer silk threads than other methods. On top of this, a highly flammable oil is found in the rind of the fruit that can be used as lamp oil, peat, or even to make Lacertillia's
Fireship.
Fruit
Called Gdooble gops, it's chewy, sour fruit. It is divided into sections and full of vitamins, often used by sailors to keep healthy, it was famously used as an early food source for Lacertillia in order to help them survive.
