Lacertillian Coast Battle Report

The official report in the aftermath of the Fishman invasion of Lacertillia in 56 Rebel. The report, though written by the militia captain, was read out in the town square by Grahain Waterbane and is believed to be the leading cause of support for Lacertillia joining the attack on Azurei just under a year later.

In the predawn hour, a group of Fishmen attacked the fishing village. Though the alarm was sounded quickly gathering militia took time leading to the already present militia needing to fend for themselves. A forward group consisting of Terra Shellpin, Nyceria Waterbane, and Ohloon was sent and is reported to have tied up the forces enough for the main force to arrive.
The Fushmen were repelled, and their leader was killed. despite this significant damage was done delaying trade and supplies and costing the lives of twenty-seven citizens.
