The Grand Melee

Shortly after the Colosseum of Blood was founded, Sardia needed a Champion to represent her in the ring. To ensure she got the best fighter was hired, she organized over a thousand proving fights, reducing the number to eight fighters. She then found two more 'perfect' warriors on Undinia itself. placing the ten in a battle royal. These combatants were:

• Drokthir: A changing mercenary captain who used his words as a weapon, that and his drumsticks.

• Helnon: A Goliath priest to Gudkrig

• Xilrel Shadowdew: A Moon Elf druid who turned into a Moonstalker.

• Vardin Jarziros: A gold Dragonborn who used to be a guardian of Pailron

• Flux: An Air-touched wood Elf who abhorred weapons, favoring his fists.

• Relkris: An Elderin hunter from the Fey Mists.

• Berlir: A divine warrior from some far-off plane.

• Avla: A shadow Elf revenant

• The Protector of Otrovac: A construct found on an island to the south.

• Predator: A creature found in the southern plains, believed to be a perfect weapon.

As the battle started with a hail of bolts from The Protector while the others charged in, things quickly turned chaotic with many fights lasting a few seconds before both members disengaged.
The first two kills came in quick succession when Berlir stabbed an attacking Xilrel in Moonstalker form through the gut, though this didn't kill her, Avla snuck in taking her head off as she reverted back to her Elf form. Avla then tried to attack a distracted Berlir only to a set of claws poking out his gut as he rose off the floor, the Predator then discarded the body. A few minutes later the Protector, having joined the up-close fighting ripped Berlir's shield out of his hands before electrocuting him.
Flux, who had spent most of the battle to this point trying to avoid the meaner-looking opponents ran out of luck when Helnon's giant Warhammer slammed into her chest, sending her ribs out of her back. Drokthir, who had spent the majority on the edges of battle doing minor damage got several crossbow bolts to the gut by the Protector, proving range wasn't useless, A fact emphasized by Relkris when he put an arrow through a charging Vardin Jarziros' eye, though he was engulfed by holy fire by Helnon for his trouble.
The Predator and protector were in close quarters, locked in brutal combat. Seeing an opportunity to take the favorite out, he charged the 'distracted' predator, only to be greeted by the Preditor's tails through his chest. The Predator then started ripping the metal plates off the Protector, leaving just the framework to collapse. The Predator roared in triumph, killing everything that approached, eventually taking Sardia in Draconic form to restain him.
