Wū Yāo Mén
The stairs and gate leading to the pass-through Erd Minthrin are considered a true marvel of a bygone age. The history of this structure is unknown even to the dragons, though the Owlin claim the top of the path is the cradle of life.
Approach
A stone path extends for one mile towards the silent lake from the archway. Though solid marble slabs lock together at the archway this becomes more fractured and overgrown as you get further away. The last hundred meters of this road is lined with sixteen statues of various large beasts including the known Ancient primal beasts, and on the plinth of each is a different strange rune. The arch
Built against the cliff face of the Erd Minthrin, is a massive hundred-foot-tall and fifty-foot-wide arch carved from pure marble. Each pylon has an alcove that holds massive statues of clocked figures holding golden staves. The alcoves are flanked by thick pillars of two strands spiraling around each other with beams connecting them. The plinths beneath these pillars and alcoves are plain at first glance, but closer inspection reveals hundreds of very finely carved runes that continue inside. The corners of the archway depict an intricate flowing design made of silver. The Attic has four gold-ringed circles depicting races from left to right, an owl facing an Owlin, an ant next to an ant-man, a great tree next to a Dryad, and a wraith. On top of the entire structure stands a statue of a large, muscular creature on all fours, claws made of large blue crystals coming out of each finger, and its skin is cut closer to carapace than smooth skin, with small draconic facial features. Dreadlocks flow from its head tipped with the same blue crystal, its three tails being the same. In the center of the path stands an obelisk with glowing runes, though no one has been able to say what language it is, everyone who reads it understands its text,Witness at the marvels of those who came before and understand you know nothing, as they knew nothing.
Stairs and platue
Past the arch is a stairway of two-thousand steps up into the mountains eventually leading to a large circular grassland in the mountains. In the center is a small lake with trees dotting the area. Hidden in the mountain side is a small shrine to The wanderer, First Patron, The other side as the path back down the mountain into the foothills and eventually the Mire of lost souls.
