Eerie

At first he tried to wake up as he always did. But when that didn't worked, he made an effort to remember how he had come here.   And he did.   He remember using the elevator to this floor, and how it had been hard to find it because this old buildings didn't have any directories. He remembered entering the building too, with his friend, who had stayed behind, just looking what kind of people visited the place. That was vital information before renting an office. Because, yes, he remembered, they had come to check this office. He remembered driving here, talking about how this price was the lowest possible, and making theories about the reason.   So he was actually here. He couldn't wake up because this wasn't the dream. He knew it was the truth, and he knew he needed to think fast, and react fast, because this was real life.   But he was stunned by the stranger in front of him.   She looked exactly like the girl he’d been dreaming about. The same glassy eyes. The same dizzy smile. The same smoke like hair. The same bloody dress. And he knew for sure that her voice would be the echo of an unsettling lullaby.   The dream itself had been eerie enough, but this was just to much. He would have run madly if he could. Was it worse to be here? Did this probably haunted office supposed a danger more terrible than tripping and roll down eight floors of stairs?   The dream smiled at him and he knew that the answer was yes. But he still couldn't move.   He never moved again.
