The most common foods used in UBH cuisine include meat (especially beef and lamb), seafood, potatoes, cheese, bread, eggs, beans, and vegetables (carrots, cabbage, brussel sprouts).Common drinks
The most common drinks are tea (stolen from humans, although witches do not care to admit that) and water. Alcohol is also popular.Typical meals
Typically, meals are taken with the family. However, on Friday and Saturday nights, it is common to go out with friends to restaurants. (Although, especially with young adults, it is acceptable to take meals with friends during the week.)- Breakfast: Breakfast is typically with the family. Most mornings, everyone works together to prepare a meal of eggs, sausage, and toast. On mornings when everyone is on the go, toast is the go-to option.
- Lunch: Lunch is often taken at work and often consists of a sandwich, crisps, and some juice. However, business lunches are also popular and many Institute and Athenaeum students go out to lunch as well.
- Dinner: Dinner is the biggest meal and is usually the time for a family to come together and talk about their day. A dinner might consist of a meat and two different vegetables, and the preparation is shared by the entire family.
