Aldin Abbey

Built long ago, the Aldin Abbey attracts visitors from near and far to explore it's ancient halls and to take in its views of both the lands climbing up to the abbey and the Coelum Caelmons lying further north.   The abbey is maintained and populated by followers of Eldath, the god of Life, and is lead by Father Breton.   Campaign Context: Travelers began reporting that the abbey was turning away visitors, and supply carts sent there have not returned. A group of strangers set out to investigate and found that the abbey had been taken over by a group of Kobolds. After finding a way in, these adventurers fought their way to the Kobold leader, Gorruk, and ended him. While grateful for having been saved,  Father Breton requested the group clear out the cave the Kobold had come from.   The group found that the cave had been taken over by some Followers of Myrkul, though there were a few Kobolds remaining that they allowed to flee under the condition they leave the abbey alone.   Upon their return Father Breton thought it was odd Myrkul cultists would be in the area, but it did jar something in his memory. He found an old torn tapestry that discussed a great calamity, the followers of Myrkul, and heros that could stop it. He suggested the group take the tapestry to the Eldath temple in Ravencrest to see if they can find out more there.
