Having been captured and mutilated by a slaver at a young age, Nimira knew nothing of trust nor compassion. As she was being transported to another location across the sea, her ship was damaged in a storm and she was washed ashore.
An elderly human sholar named Elvira Reef took the tiefling in her care and nursed her back to health. For ten years Nimira was able to live with the old woman, lending books, tomes and scrolls from her vast collection. Shortly before Elvira died she left the little house by the coast and all possesions to Nimira.
Filled with sorrow Nimira began having horrid nightmares. One in particular kept coming back, eventually Nimira had to accept that a life in solitude was not for her.
