Zedrick Brightforge
Brother Zedrick Brightforge (a.k.a. Zed)
Zedrick grew up as the only child of a Blacksmith, who owned a humble workshop in the slums of Baldur’s Gate. The streets of his neighborhood were rife with famine and poverty, while bands of organized thugs and corrupt lawbringers would prey on the weak through extortion and protection rackets. When one day his father was brutally “punished” for not complying with the demands of these criminals, Zedrick was left alone and forced into a local orphanage.
Living under a strict religious discipline, Zedrick found comfort and eventually strength in the divine. Upon reaching maturity, it was the Temple of Tyr that shone as a bright beacon in his eyes, for its servants were known for their pursuit of justice above all else. As a faithful Acolyte of Tyr, Zedrick has spent years in the company of Paladins and Justicars alike. While most frequently occupied dispensing justice to lowlifes and delinquents, he has also been involved in several large scale conflicts, shouting blessings at troops on the frontline, and providing medical support to those in need.
