Neverwinter
The city of Neverwinter sits along the High Road between Luskan and Waterdeep just off the Sword Coast. The city is noted for it’s magically altered spring-like temperatures all year round. The City of Skilled Hands houses primarily humans and half elves and a few halflings but in the reconstruction efforts after the cataclysm of Mount Hotenow's eruption the town has become more of a melting pot of races.
The city is a work of art against a savage backdrop. The buildings are noteworthy in both design and engineering. Of all the cities in the north, Neverwinter is viewed by most to be the most civilized place.
Neverwinter is famous for its waterclocks which are regarded as the most accurate timepieces in all of the realms as well as producing multi colored lamps crafted with blended glass that can change their color.
Since the eruption of Mount Hotenow much of Neverwinter's southeastern section has been destroyed by the chasm opened by the resultant earthquakes. In the reconstruction efforts the town has become more of a melting pot of races and the chasm has been walled off from the rest of the city to protect the inhabitants from the spellplague monstrosities that crawl out from it's depths.
