Solwide Education Committee
The Solwide Education Committee was founded to standardise education within The Sol System. It introduced a school system where children attend 5 years of lower school and 5 of upper school. Lower school runs from ages 7-11 and Upper school from ages 11-16. The only exams are at the end of Upper School where students sit their International Certificate of Upper Education, or ICUE's. After this students go on to Higher Education, for 2 years where they sit their ICHE's at the end of the 2 year period. The school curriculum's are the same and the only subject you must study for the ICUE's is mathematics. They can also study up to 6 other subjects. In Lower School all subjects are studied. For ICHE's at least 2 must be studied, and up to 5 may be studied. Afterwards you can go onto university.
