The United Republic of Ireland is a Terran country located off the coast of Europe, on an island which is part of an archipelago called the British Isles. The capital is Dublin, the nations only megacity.
Although it has no land borders, it has ocean borders with the Republic of Scotland and the Kingdom of Britain to the east, and France to the south.
The country joined the EEC in the 1970’s, and then the northern half, which was part of a different, now non existent, country, left, Or, was dragged out by the rest of the country. This prompted talks about Irish unification, and the United Republic of Ireland was formed as a result.
Ireland had four provinces, Ulster, Connacht, Munster, Leinster.

History
The United Republic of Ireland was formed in the 2020s by the unification of the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland, a nation which was formerly a sub-nation of another former nation known as the United Kingdom. Irish, and also Scottish, history books often say that this was because the two former nations known as England and Wales ‘fucked us up’
