House of Boralis

Boralis is the oldest house in all of Farrock and are sometimes referred to as the Lorekeepers of Farrock. Since time immemorial they have ruled over Fjordheim largely keeping to themselves and avoiding the internal politics of Farrock. At some point in the 1st era it is believed they constructed The Aurora Hold to serve as a breakwater for forces invading from Karrock in the east, with the town of Wayrest sprouting up in the fort's shadow in relatively recent history. They view themselves as true sons of Farrock and often look down at the upstart Ultengaards and Tulls, though in practice they still maintain a largely isolationist stance.
