The Sand Sea

The great desert of Kli'ir, it is said to go on forever eastward and is sometimes referred to as The Endless Expanse. It's terrain is exceptionally challenging with scant food and water available in the desert. Only the nomadic Shi'ir people, who call the sands home, can reliably navigate it. The only known settlement within the expanse is the holy city of Ir.

Geography

A harsh desert with seemingly endless sand dunes stretching from the steppe lands at the foot of Kli'ir's western mountains out for an unknown distance eastward. It lies in between The Sea of the Eternal Sun to its south and The Golden Puddle to its north.

Harsh desert climate, minimal rainfall.
