Aves Phoenicidae, are a species of Gargantuan Bird, often with fiery resplendent feathers of orange, blue or purple depending on their age. Often they are four-limbed, having two razor-sharp talons and two massive feathered wings. Generally, their bones are hollow in order to allow them the ability to fly.
Genetics and Reproduction
Aves Phoenicidae reproduced asexually. The entire process relied on the concept of self-immolation and rebirth. As a result, most people were under the impression that there is only one phoenix.
Growth Rate & Stages
After undergoing their self-immolation, Aves Phoenicidae would leave behind ashes and a hot cinder egg that was completely immune to damage, after a few days a new phoenix would hatch from the egg. Generally, Aves Phoenicidae would have a lifespan upwards of 12,000 years making them amongst some of the longest-lived creatures of the world
