Personal history

He lived the majority of his life in the Shadow Realm. While within the Shadow Realm, he lived an average halfling life without adventure. He never had any desire to leave his home or to explore the world. Being pulled through a rift in 2145 was traumatic and left him feeling isolated. Finding the Wildlings served as a way to restore the sense of community that he lost when he was pulled into the Mundane world. Now that he has resolved this trauma by building a new community, he has found himself to be curious and excited about the world he has found himself.

Education

All his education has been informal. He is very curious and an eager learner. He has taken on the student role by learning from numerous people who have served as tutors to him on various topics. He has also engaged in self teaching, but he much prefers having a tutor.

Employment

He makes simple mechanical dolls which he sells online. He also works as a free lance web designer.

Despite his efforts to blend into Seattle and the Mundane world, he has found that his accent is not quite right, his mannerisms are a little off, his figures of speech are not quite hitting the mark and his appearance doesn't quite blend in. Not enough that people suspect that he doesn't belong to the city, let alone to this world. But it is enough to afford him curious glances and attention that he would rather not have. Most find him to be odd, but there are those who find him to be intriguing and find themselves curious. There are times that he can use this to his advantage to gain access to people and places that he might not otherwise have, for himself and those traveling with him. 
One such trait is that he has a different sense of personal space then most. He seems less aware of personal space than others, easily making physical contact and standing exceptionally close to others. He also seems completely unaware when he has violated the space of others. He behaves overly familiarly with everyone as though he has always known them.
