Kevenin
History
Kevenin family tree has a deep history that was buried in time. The family name started with the first dragonslayer Elv named "Targan", who managed to capture a dragon into his ancient sword empowered with Ancient Kavalon Runes. After that era-changing event, the era of Kevenin started in Kavalon. Targan put a family name on him and started to rule huge territories in Kavalon. But even a dragonslayer will die one day, and so will Targan. After his death, the sword was buried with him in his grave. But after generations, one Kevenin named "Kasva" tried to dig the sword from the burial of Targan, and, this started a catastrophe on Kavalon. The sword was so powerful, but Kasva was not. So the sword devoured Kasva's soul and took her body along with her consciousness to get an act of revenge on Kavalonians. With Kasva's body, it unleashed an apocalypse upon Kavalon.
Kavalon was not weak, but the dragon was so powerful against them. Because of its power and ruthlessness, some people of Kavalon joined its side, some for staying with a powerful heir, some because of fear.
After many years, Kavalonian empires lost their territories to corrupted Kasva. When they zeroed their luck against Kasva, the remaining empires of Kavalon came together to execute a plan on traveling to the past for killing Kasva before she acquires the sword. Time traveling with magic was not such an easy task for anyone, even for the strongest mages in Kavalon. They sent a Kavalonian named "Talas", their strongest warrior for this quest. Some great mages died upon sending Talas to the past, but, they managed to do it. Talas didn't return from his journey and remeaning empires of Kavalon fell into the darkness. After a year, some of the remaining empires and kingdoms fell to Kasva's domination. But one day, Kasva just disappeared. Only the sword remained. While people trying to realize what happened, an heir to the Kevenin family, Kasva's son, "Sava", found the sword and seeks help from the surviving kingdoms. There was no way to kill the dragon while it is in the sword, they thought the only way was to destroy the sword. But destroying the sword meant that the dragon's soul would break free, and, this was a bigger problem than it controlling someone. So the mages decided to use a mythical spell against the dragon. They took the sword to the peak of Kavalon (Where the magical energy is at its most) and cast a spell that would put the soul in an eternal sleep until it loses the anger and hatred in itself. It was easier to reach the sword when there was no one fighting back, so they did and the spell worked on the soul, the sword, became an antique tool of battle.
After the soul fell into eternal sleep, the sword has been kept by Sava, and handed down by generations. The history of Kevenin family was buried under the history of Kavalon , and the rights of royalty have been dismissed, never to be told again. Sava Kevenin continued the name of his family and reclaimed some of his honor by serving the greater good in Kavalon. After the Great War of the Ancients, the generation of its time survived, and some of them migrated over the torn portals to start anew.
New dawn raised for the Kevenin history in a continent named Kut, located somewhere called Urukhan. This place was nowhere like Kavalon, but, it felt better for the migrated Kevenins. The sword also went with them and kept sleeping. Generations have passed, and the Kevenins dwindled in time. In 4675 BGWA, only three Kevenin left on the Kut continent: Runan, Tessileni and Ülgeneyen. The mother, Ülgeneyen was killed during a Kotkur incident in which she defended the great tree of Karkabağ. Ülgeneyen was the wielder of the sword until then. After her, Runan took the sword over as the heritage. Then, Runan and Tesilleni went on a journey to release their mother's ashes from the peak of the North. On that journey, one night, Tesilleni thought her mother was talking to her, from the heritage sword, and tried to hold the sword to talk with her mother. But the truth was, the sword have been awoken. When Tesilleni held the sword, it shined with bright violet colors of light. Tesilleni felt her mother in the sword, but she couldn't see the dragon inside. Runan woke up and tried to separate Tesilleni from the sword when he saw her gaze was fading, but the dragon already took control and killed Runan because of his attempt to separate. But, Tesilleni somehow took her consciousness back and thought she killed her brother by losing herself. After that day, Tesilleni was the only heir who remained on the Kut continent. - to be continued
