Lorena (La - Ren - Ar)

Lorena is popularly known as the first harpy, having descended from the mighty gods in the first litter, of which six Harpies survived. Whilst she's universally known for her extraordinary beauty, Lorena was equally a just ruler. Also being one of the driving factors behind the glorious reign over the Ash Isles.
She was favoured with remarkable beauty. With long flowing darkened chestnut hair, slightly lighter than pale skin and her deep brown eyes, this would instantly make even a loyal man fall in love. She had a slim figure and was quick when flying. Her splendid wings would spread and shine a delicate silver in the radiant sun but pitch black in the moonlit night, perfect for being intentionally hidden. Her wingspan would reach a full 2.5 meters when gliding and at their fullest. In battle, she traditionally wore gold plated armour with gleaming jewels crested around her collar. Lorena's specific weapon of choice was an eight-foot, spike studded whip.
Lorena was always protected by three loyal guards, known as The Harpguard. Her beloved sister and closest friend, Nephara, was the most renowned of the Harpguards and was one of the six in the first litter.
She led the defence of her home, renowned as The Last Flight of the Harpies. However, Lorena never sought to do battle with Dranor and requested a meet with King Arkinal. In the hope to resolve the conflict, inflicting no further harm to her people. She ordered a small party to greet King Arkinal, who responded by slaying the entire party and returning them to Lorena as ashes.
After the War of the Ashes, Lorena's breastplate was recovered on the battlefield. However, her presumed death was then confirmed. Legend allegedly states she was one of the few who fled north once she realised all was lost.
The men of Dranor recognize her as the winged beauty. Her looks bore such an effect on all those who laid eyes on her. King Arkinal speaks falsely of his personal regrets for going to war on Lorena but states, it was merely his duty to obtain these islands.
