Captain T'Vrell - Deceased

Early Life

T'Vrell would leave Vulcan in her early years to accompany her parents to Earth Spacedock where she would live for most of her young life. Her parents were both Starfleet Officers who had chosen a quiet life on a starbase to raise their daughter. It was the logical posting after all.

Career

T'Vrell would exceed in her role as an engineer, serving as a junior engineering officer on the U.S.S Stargazer under Captain Jean-Luc Picard. She would work her way up through the ranks achieving the rank of Captain during the evacuation of the Hovus system after the Romulan supernova. She would command her first ship the U.S.S Providence during this evacuation, and was chosen specifically to help with the evacuation effort due to her prior contact with the now Admiral Picard.

Death

T'Vrell would park herself behind a desk as her parents did, upon the birth of her daughter T'lya, but in the year 2409, some 22 years after the evacuation of Romulus, the Tal Shiar, now reorganised into the Romulan Star Empire, would begin to threaten the refugee populations that Captain T'Vrell had placed onto new worlds. She requested a requisition of a small starship and a minimal crew to get back into the field and help starfleet protect these people. Since her daughter was now at starfleet academy, she was no longer bound to the drydock life she had made for herself.

An old Miranda Class Starship was all the Federation could spare her for her request, and a minimal crew of a few engineers, a tactical officer and a medic. She pleaded an old tutee of hers, Commander Wesson to come and serve as her First Officer. Wesson was happy to oblige, owing T'Vrell for much of the operations work that led him to success in his career in the field.

T'Vrell would die during the evacuation of a Romulan refugee world when the Tal Shiar sent operatives to blend into the crowds of desperate Romulans, managing to assasinate the Captain and cause chaos among the evacuation. Commander Wesson, with the help of his 12 remaining crew members saved 346 Romulans from the Star Empire, but he could not save his former mentor.
