Ferengi Fight League

The Ferengi Fight League is a largescale commercial enterprise backed by the Ferengi Alliance that coordinates caged combat all across the Alpha and Beta quadrants. There are a wide array of different match styles and weight classes and the labyrinthine bracket structure means that only the Ferengi seem to have any idea whom is actually going to face whom. Still, the FFL boasts hundreds of fighters and dozens of matches a week and thanks to heavy marketing and gambling it is popular all across known space.
The current champion is Ka'noth "The Butcher of Baryon Bay", a notorious Klingon war criminal who has received political asylum from both the Klingons and the Federation by becoming and holding the grand championship title.
