Bypass enjoys a plentiful harvest. The trees turn fiery orange, the wheat plump, the livestock full. The pride of the Nilesian Court's harvest are its rich orchards. The assortment of greens and yellows and reds and oranges from the apples and pears in the orchards around the region usher in the chill of autumn. During Ereautumn and Midautumn, the villagers and serfs are hard at work gathering the fruit. Wizards and druids work in tandem to preserve the fruit for several months.
After autumn and winter come and go, and the leaves begin to turn green, the pear trees bud pretty white flowers. When the orchards are "ripe 'n' white" the townsfolk seek out the treasurer of the autumnal fruit. With the preserved fruit they concoct various foods and drink. They play games and have baking contests. The hoary ones tell stories to the younglings about harvests from long ago and the following springs that brought warmth and play.
The Nilesians love the idea of seasons returning and being as a mirror. So they tend to do vernal events in autumn and autumn events in vernal. They see this as perpetuating the cycle and having some sort of control over it.
