Forest Voles
Inhabiting the forests and woods of Evoria, these small-sized creatures are the terror to every household.
These voles are true to their name as burrowers. Indeed, they may tunnel to roots of plants or even trees if the family is large enough. The creatures have groups called "families." These families can be a few generations in size and swarm when provoked by feeding or breeding. When swarming, these rodents burrow under floorboards and are known to burrow through rock or hard stone floor. They can clear a garden or group of flowers in hours, and can fell great trees in a few days.
The best deterrent are digging dogs, raptors, or poisoning the roots of whatever they are or will eat.
