The Greattree of Belor Daeg. Sits in a steep valley encircled by mountains. The crown of the tree just barely reaches over the peaks.
Golden Illusion
The mysterious Greattree of Belor Daeg has interesting properties that separate it from other Greattrees. Particularly, this is an illusory effect that changes its appearance to a shining, glowing, golden tree. The reason for this is uncertain. Despite this, the inhabitants of the Greattree still live among its high boughs and build karst-like dwellings along its trunk. The light does not permeate material added onto it, so the light can be stopped with simple cloth drapes or other material.
"Jolly Druids"
The
Druids of Belor Daeg consider this their
mírsel — convening location. They are so-called "jolly" because they are warm to travelers and strangers. Most druids are wary of others, and for good reason. The continent of Belor Daeg being so isolated and least populous promotes a togetherness among the druids not found many other places.
More than Druids
More than just
druids call this place home. They were the first inhabitants of the tree, but many other peoples have come to call it home. As with all Greattrees, Sinufellish radiates a Good energy that deters Evil creatures. As such, this sanctuary provides shelter for many, many different peoples.
