Ironback Hills

The northern foothills of the Manduskian Range. These rocky and hills have bushes and trees, but mostly made of gray, hardened stone. This stone gives the foothills their peculiar name. Often attributed as a misnomer, the Ironbacks don't actually contain plentiful amounts of iron. Iron mines do exist but are shallow. Dwarves claim parts of the hills, miners paying the landowners in refined resources such as ingots or precious gems. There are little resources left here, and since Manaron's loss of power monsters roam freely.
