"Barren," sir. I called the area, "Barren."This cold country is just as much forest as snow. Not much is known beyond the trees as no expedition has been intrepid enough to push through. It's suspected frost giants or some other creatures exist beyond the pale.

The Green-white Beyond
One explorer did manage to get past the seemingly endless expanse. A filé named Lastolo who with magical assistance crossed the tundra and found ferself in a precipitous land of gulleys and crags and tall snow-laden evergreens. A gentle icy mist fell from the sky. Fé didn't know it, but fé just came across the only known instance of a cold rainforest. Lastolo named the place Calenfainathan which translates to "green-white beyond." Indeed, as fé traveled into the steep valleys the wind was not so persistent, and the gentle ice above become cold misty rain. The snow covered the treetops, but as fé descended underneath them, fé saw the trees' needles and sturdy leaves withheld the snow, leaving a lush, albeit cold, forest floor.
