The Careful Ones
A cult dedicated to Dyahvahna and her teachings of balance. They trek to places of Stillness that are devoid of any sound, creature, other. Here they meditate.
"Stillness" is a natural phenomenon where "pockets" of several hundred feet are simply devoid of any sound or sensation. They can be quite dangerous and disorienting if one doesn't know they exist. They are caused by many reasons, and not all entirely understood.
They are so called The Careful Ones because they travelled not without purpose, for each step was to them as a suite or ballad to a bard, carefully rehearsed and planned.
Structure
No hierarchy though a spiritual leader led the marches.
Culture
The same ascetic lifestyle of other Dyahvahna followers, though these moved more often so they might follow the Stillness.
Public Agenda
They only seek out true inner peace and paradise within. The best place to achieve this are the places of Stillness that can be found.
Assets
They own nothing but the cloth that covers them and eat only what they find. No money or luxuries do they own or desire.
History
Beginning towards the beginning of the 2600's a sect of Dyahvahna set out from somewhere north of Arcorvatavá (Rerya). This sect took offense to the current teachings at the temple and when a leader, Tohmohava, found a place of Stillness, declared he would sojourn to every place of Stillness he could, and many followed.
Tohmohava led them across swamps and deserts and mountains following the quiet voice of Dyahvahna beckoning to the Stillness. For 60 years they did this until Tohmohava passed at which point none could hear the quiet voice of Dyahvahna and so returned home.
Disbandment
Upon Tohmohava's death, all remaining followers decided to go back to their monastery and reform back into it. They were welcomed and so ended The Careful Ones.
DISBANDED/DISSOLVED
