Military action
This battle was the first in the war. It cemented the Democracy as a force to be taken seriously. The King's Force saw the Democracy as a little rebellion to be easily quashed. They, however, proved that notion false. The king did not lead the force, his general did, Lucius Penhallow of the Penhallow Great House. He was, unfortunately, killed in battle. A few cavalry archers of the Democracy rode up quickly and slew him. A tactical retreat was ordered and Manaron came down from Hlee to lead his armies.
