The rout at Hlee Gate pushed the Democracy miles away, back to its home in Dalth'it. Now, the weary Democracy hid behind the formidable walls of Dalth'it while the King's Force engineers mastered the Democracy's hastily left siege weapons, turning the outer walls of Dalth'it to rubble. Jatzetz and the Democracy tried their hand at a sortie, though underhanded as they went out under cover of darkness. They did end up routing the King's Force back to just north of Louvryit. In the flee, Manaron was wounded, spurning the Democracy harder.
