Acheron

The Infinite Battlefield

A plane of constant conflict and war, Acheron is one of the 3 lower planes, closest to Pandemonius. FIlled with various cabals and groups of demons waging constant war on each other, as well as a few unfortunate wandering souls. The landscapes are harsh, desolate and shaped by battle. From barren open fields where ground wars are waged, to craggy mountains and canyons ripe for traps and ambushes.

Fight! Battle!
We keep marching on.
Pierce! Rattle!
Through the fields of Acheron.
Endless! Glory!
Chaos reigns supreme.

Acheron is also home to deities such as Gruumsh, Patron of Orcs and Mag'lubiyet, Patron of Goblinoids, who relish in the conflict this realm provides. Many Orcs, Goblins, and others who worship these gods romanticise these battlefields, and many find themselves in this plane as opposed to Elysium
