Betrayal

Haldir Osoroth betrays his crew The Monster Slayers, abandoning them when they choose to band together and fight executioners who came to avenge crimes that Haldir himself helped to perpetrate. Calling upon the powers of a dark lord he had been communing with in secret, he fled what would be a massacre of those who trusted him.  

Sole Survivor

The only other survivor of the party was Gerty Kneecaps, who swore vengance on Haldir and disappeared underground, waiting for the time to avenge his comrades.   (See The Haldir Incident)
