Clan Kavar

CLAN KAVAR Leader: Tiberan Kavar I AKA Tiberan the Counqeror (founder, deceased, Tiberan Kavar III (previous, deceased), Davric Kavar (current) Sigil: A cracked kyber crystal set against a starburst and encircled by the ancient Crusader ring. Traits: Jedi hunting, Heirarchical Piety, Legacy, Technology Relationships: Vael and the Storm Citadel (ruling clan), Clan Solex (rival), Clan Essex (enemy), The Hidden Chain (enemy), Mand'alor the Avenger (loyal to), The Jedi Order (enemy), Galactic Republic (enemy), Sith Empire (neutral), Hutt Cartels (neutral) Reputation: Formed at the height of the Mandalorian Wars in the wake of a climactic duel, Clan Kavar ruled the world of Vael for nearly three hundred years. Like many Mandalorians, Jedi are a prized enemy but in the instance of Clan Kavar it is out of reverence and respect rather than animosity and many of Kavar's elite warriors can lay claim to a legacy of skillful Jedi hunting.     While structure and hierarchies are often simplistic and vague among most Mandalorian clans, Clan Kavar developed a focus on discipline and regimented society on Vael. Under their rule, Vael developed into a highly feudalistic society that has blossomed for centuries, and Kavar themselves were well-respected for their reputation for Jedi hunting and strict adherence to the ancient Canons of Honor.   This changed during the Crusader's Schism when Tiberan Kavar III, descendant of Tiberan the Conqueror - the clan's founder, was denounced by subservient Clan Solex when it was discovered Tiberan III intended to declare for Jicoln Cadera against the Vindicated. Clan Kavar's legacy was thought extinguished when Tiberan III was slain in single combat by Zev Solex and the rest of the Clan Kavar was nearly wiped out when the other clans of Vael - Solex at the forefront - attacked in the Winter War that culminated in the Battle of the Bended Knee.   With Tiberan III dead and his only son thought killed in action, the survivors were offered the choice of absorption into Clan Solex or death in combat. Twenty years later, Tiberan III's son - Davric Kavar - came out of hiding to lead a successful revival of the Clan and a campaign to retake Vael from Solex's control that ended in a duel between Davric and reigning Solex alor, Varr Solex. Now, Davric Kavar - sole surviving descendant of Tiberan the Conqueror - leads Clan Kavar as Keldab'Kalyr of the Storm Citadel alongside clans old and new.
