Elven Dominion
The Elven Dominion was formed in the year 0 AP. The formation came shortly after the installation of the Imperial Parliament and the removal of the Human Emperor.
A single bloodline monarchy has formed the centre of The Elven Dominion since it's inception. A senate was created along with the formation to represent the people and advise the king. It is believed that the Dominion King or Queen are the selected representative of Driswyn on earth. They hold the divine right of the Sovereign to rule over the Dominion.
Some believe that the Dominion was formed as a direct response to the Human Rebellion which overthrew the Human Emperor. It was felt at the time that the best way to maintain the power of the elite would be to consolidate all their efforts around a single monarch.
The first Sovereign of the Dominion was @King Elio [person]. The current Sovereign is Queen Eilowyn [person].
A court typically forms around the Sovereign and remains intact for most of their reign. Loyalty is typically pierce. Each Sovereign remakes their court in their images but certain roles have existed in most courts including Military Commander, Spymaster, Diplomatic Liaisons and more.
