Ozymandi, The Lord of Bright Death
The Lord of Bright Death Ozymandi
Ozymandi was created by the Motive Energy, an otherworldly entity of immense power and purpose. The Motive Energy, seeking to balance the forces of light and darkness, life and death, crafted Ozymandi to embody these dual aspects. He became the god of the Sun and light, bringing warmth and growth, and the god of Death, overseeing the end of life and the passage to the afterlife.
The peace was shattered when Ozymandi, driven by a desire for greater power and control, killed Mekton, the First Forged. This act of betrayal sparked the Carrion War, a brutal conflict that pitted the gods against each other and against the primordial dragons.
Ozymandi led his Bright Knights in a campaign to eliminate his rivals. His forces clashed with those loyal to Aurella and Howel, and the conflict caused widespread devastation. The war reached its climax with the death of Ankior, the god of magic and offspring of the Primordial Dragon of Air and Aurella.
The Motive Energy, witnessing the chaos and fearing the consequences of its creations' flaws, decided to intervene. It erected a barrier, cutting the realm of the gods off from the rest of the world. This was intended to halt Ozymandi's ambitions and restore balance.
However, Ozymandi's power and cunning proved too great. He not only continued to influence the mortal world through his followers but also managed to imprison the Motive Energy itself. This act granted him full control over death, solidifying his position as the most powerful deity in Vaeloria.
