Necromancer's usually do not deal with gold or platinum as they do not frequent major cities given their illicit nature. Most necromancers ask for material components so they can continue their research or provide services for future customers.

Perception

Purpose

The necromancer's main purpose is to attempt to find the limits of death. They find solace in trying to find the secrets in life and death. They help citizens here and there when they are not being hunted by the Enforcers.

Social Status

Necromancer's like to hide away from society and if found are normally quick to act defensively given their legality. Most people who come to seek out a necromancer usually give an offering as sign of good faith that they will not turn in the necromancer to the authorities.

History

The necromancers were marked as illegal early on in the First Age. A necromancer was found trying to resurrect the bodies of the Trisar after the Fracturing. The necromancer was attempting to learn the secret of the Trisar and why they were so gifted in the arcane and divine. Ultimately, this curiosity was his downfall as he was brought before the Senate and executed publicly for his crimes. Since then necromancy has been outlawed by the Republic with no end in sight.

Some tools you might find in their home would be varies academical components, scalpels, scythes, and other embalming tools.

Materials

Their main material is dead flesh of any species. Other materials might include blood, bones, bone dust, etc.

Workplace

Their workplace is normally their home, where you might find a small laboratory for experiments, summoning circles, potions, etc.

Provided Services

Most customers tend to seek out necromancers after the loss of a loved one. They cannot accept that they are truly lost in this world and attempt to commune with their soul as a way of closure. Others have a more sinister nature and seek to bring their loved one back from the grave.

Dangers & Hazards

They are many hazards in taking up necromancy. Specifically if caught, there is a major fine, jail time, and potentially death given the circumstances. Most necromancers tend to live out in the wild to prevent being seen.
